For still and multimedia photographers, The D810 will ignite your creativity and help you capture images that astound. For cinematographers and camera operators, the D810 will become one of the most versatile tools in your arsenal. The D810 will expand your vision and make you rethink what’s possible. Sensor size is 1.41 x 0.94 in inches. For moving subjects camera focuses continuously while shutter release button is pressed halfway. If subject moves camera will engage predictive focus tracking to predict final distance to subject and adjust focus as necessary. At default settings shutter can be released whether or not subject is in focus. When the shutter release button is pressed halfway, the colors in the area surrounding the focus point are stored in the camera. Consequently 3d tracking may not produce the desired results with subjects that are similar in color to the background or that occupy a very small area of the frame.
